  • Pavements (including along walls, in gutters, between paving slabs)
  • Tree pits
  • Parks and public gardens
  • Playgrounds
  • Car parks
  • Road verges
  • Land around hospitals and care homes
  • Grounds of nurseries, schools, colleges and universities
  • Housing estates
  • Land around shopping centres
  • Around train tracks and train stations
  • Sports pitches, playing fields, and bowling greens
  • Quays along rivers, canals or the sea
  • Beaches
